Perpetuus Discipulus

For those not up on Latin, and believe me those are some of the few words I've learned, this blog is about how I consider myself a "Perpetual Student". I am tasking myself with the ideology that I will never know it all, and will always be looking to learn something more about anything. This blog is to showcase my favorite channel of learning, and that is through application. The reader will see through pictures and text projects that I work on to keep my mind sharp and my hands working on the things that I enjoy, and through doing this will constantly be teaching myself something further about it. My lessons may not be apparent, but I will have unknowingly learned something.

Introduction - The Full Thing

Okay, lets start off with, I don't know why I am choosing to start a blog in the first place. I wouldn't think that I need one to share my creations with you guys, with my YouTube channel. But I guess I am making a transition in my delivery method as I become more heavily involved with the online forum "shopfloortalk.com" of which I've been a member of since 2007. Thing about that forum is that we all love seeing other peoples projects and sharing knowledge with each other, and above all else pictures of the projects. Great thing about that forum is that they still cater to those who have slow Internet speeds. So in order to appease people like this, and possibly to provide more detail about what even I possibly didn't know I was thinking at the time of making something, I will try to keep this blog going and hope that it is like most books vs the movies, That it will have more detail for those wondering.

On a side note, Hopefully this delivery style will sharpen my understanding of the very message that I am trying to convey, and hopefully I will become a better writer for the forums.

Thank you for taking your time to read through this introduction and any future posts that I hope intrigue and pass along knowledge to you, the reader.

Not too much to me, simply grew up working with my hands, and though I have moved to a career that has taken that away from me, I constantly keep it alive as a hobby. These blogs are my lessons learned and projects created in keeping this alive.
